Getting Started
Create your account, set up a household, and start planning dinners with Dinnerbord.
Dinnerbord helps households plan dinners together. This guide walks you through getting set up from scratch.
1. Create your account
Go to dinnerbord.com/register and sign up with your email address. You're signed in straight away, with no confirmation email to wait for.
2. Name your household
A household is created for you when you sign up, and you're its organizer. You'll be asked to give it a name (e.g. "Smith Family"). The household groups you and the people you plan with, so you share one week plan, recipe library and grocery list.
If someone already invited your email address to their household, you join that household instead.
3. Invite the people you plan with
Go to Household and invite members by email. They'll receive an invitation link to join. See Managing members.
4. Add your first recipes
Go to Recipes and add a few dinners your household already makes. Each recipe needs a name and a protein. Ingredients, tags and notes are optional, but ingredients are what fill your grocery list. See Recipes.
5. Plan your week
Open Week Plan and suggest a dinner for each day. Other members +1 the suggestions they want, and when everyone has +1'd the same dinner, the day locks. See Weekly plan.
